actions before beginning syncing and after finishing syncing
Please install free configurable actions before beginning syncing and after finishing syncing, e.g. like Cobian Backup 11 from Luis Cobian.
This is e.g. very important for sending informations about Echosync status to the clients.
Echosync ist very quick and great - an ideal possibility for managing a standby server.
Thank you very much, best regards

Pause mode
When we sync we should have a pause button if we need our disk for another task.

Highlight the most recent version of a same file in source or in destination
To be able to know on one sight if a sync will overwrite newer destination file and if we must move it by hand before sync
By the way, thanks a lot for Echosync and Metatogger. Theses are great pieces of sofwares !

Backup deleted files for a while
To allow user to recover deleted file, deleted files can be backed up for a while
1 voteEchosync is more a synchronization tool than a backup one. You can always disable the synchronization of missing files.

Ignore file modification date differences up to two seconds
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/oldnewthing/20140903-00/?p=83/
EchoSync keeps syncing the same dirs because all the files are 2 seconds shifted-up.
So bad .... makes EchoSync useless
1 voteEchosync has already a setting to round timestamp: the FileTimeStampDigitsTolerance setting with a default value to 7.
This means that milliseconds are ignored when comparing the timestamp of the last modification of the files. But you can not add more tolerance unless you take the risk that modified files are not taken into account for synchronization. Using a file system with a 2-second date resolution like FAT, created in 1977, should not be encouraged. I recommend to use use more modern file system like exFAT or NTFS for your USB keys.

You can already use the Windows task manager to schedule execution of profiles.
