Possibility to know if multiple covers are included in the files
Because some players cannot read the covers if multiple JPG covers in the files metadatas.

Let us specifiy a cover resize dimension when saving an embeded cover
When embedding a cover, enter the max width/height options of the jpg. If the image is larger than that dimension, size it down. If the image is smaller then leave it alone

Making this sofware a little fast...
I use Windows 7 and that program is a little slow, so I propose to speed it up....

Add a filter to see only modified files
When I import 1000 tracks and tag these from acoustic fingerprint, maybe 30 of the 1000 are modified. It would be great to have a filter so that only the modified tracks would be displayed (or they would be on top of the list), so that I could easily review them, without having to browse through all tracks to find the few modified ones.
1 voteIn the next maintenance release of Metatogger 5, you will find an “item changed?” column. So, you could sort or group by that column to highlight all modified items.

Add a field "2-digit track number" for file renaming
If tracks are named 1-, 2-, 3-, ... 9-, 10-, 11- they are sorted the wrong may in many programs. Should be 01, 02, 03 ... so a field like |tracknumber2digit| could do that.

Make it resizable on netbooks!
Your piece of software is excellent, however there's an annoyance that came in v4.5.7. On netbooks with 1024x600 screen resolution, the entire window shows up off screen and can't be resized easily. Resizing seems to be limited to a window size ca. 1100x700 or something like that.
Next thing is: Is there a way to make graphic effects possible to disable? On the same netbook, the "progressive display" effect of the file list sure looks nice but slows a lot of things down!

Improvments to duplicate delete process
When you are searching for duplicates:
The program will return with ALL music in the library pre tagged.
The grouping is nice but accidentally I have deleted files I did not intend to.I would suggest to modify its behavior in three ways.
1] Return ONLY the duplicated files - NOT THE SINGLES
2] Default to check NO FILES - Let the user choose which file(s) to check.
3] Modify the delete duplicates button to delete ALL CHECKED files at once.3 votes3] An option to delete all “selected” OR “checked” files has been added in Metatogger.

Allow direct tag edition in the workspace
On main screen, there no possibility to start entering data into filelds without mouse click.
I use cursor keys to navigate, and It will be good idea, to allow entering text without selecting field by mouse (for example ENTER should start edition).
For me - any key (including backspace) should start editing with cursor at end of the text.

Must be better the main opening screen...
Hi, your program is the best concerning tag editing but when the program start, the main screen is not centered; my screen is 1920x1080 Windows7 x64 bit. I think you must make better this defect. Greetings from Catalonia!

What about proxy connection settings?
I cant fill in my proxy connection information.

You can change the settings by editing the Metatogger.exe.config file.
